One of my organizational resolutions was to get rid of stash over 10 yrs old! Seven plastic tubs went to the Mission Closet at church, and those not "in-the-know" thought I had given away all my fabric. I didn't have the heart to bore them with the truth, so I just smiled and said "you're welcome".
I have a blouse cut out and sitting on my machine as we speak, but I am determined to complete the reorganizing of my sewing room.
