This was done by one of our ST (Seam Team) member and thought you'd like to see it!

It is the 5/17/11 chat test 02 pattern called "x1 Basic FBA Simple Cowl" . The chat log has all the information regarding this pattern. Enjoy, Tari

Thanks for the link. Finally finished the ballgown I was shortening for a lady. Maybe tomorrow I can open TCC and find that pattern. Duckie

This is the same cowl, but the fabric is heavier so I cut the front neck 2" wider. Also I had cut it on the cross grain to get the striations running up and down, and it didn't drape well on the cross grain. Luckily there was enough left to cut a big triangle on the straight grain and patch that in. Now it drapes, and I like it a lot.

There is no simple cowl in my Chat 2 or anywhere else. I wonder what has happened to it and what else could be missing. I have the scrunchy cowl which I don't care for. LINDA

I found it in Chat 2 - Temp 01, x1 basic FBA simple cowl, way down near the bottom of the list in Temp 01.

I have two computers, one a netbook that I travel with, which has the cowl pattern and a total of 440 patterns. My desktop that I use primarily has only 372 patterns. Now why would there be any difference when I update both on a regular basis? Now I know that I picked up a stray pattern or so at conference but I don't think I picked up 68. LINDA

The only thing I can think of is if your desktop is a 64-bit machine? and some of the patterns didn't get converted? Otherwise, it's beyond me........

Hi Linda, I believe it was the most recent chat or the week before, Kat mentioned that she was going to clean out Chat Test 02. She suggested that we save any templates from Chat Test 02 before she did this clean up. Most everything she deleted were patterns that have already been updated. The exception may be the cowl pattern. The cowl pattern pre-dates the current armscythe update in the shirt patterns. Maybe...she would be kind enough to reissue this pattern with the new armscythe as this is a wonderful fall/winter pattern....pretty please Kat.
Yes...I'm begging again....and it's not even a princess pattern.... Tari
