Here's a quick top that I made ... just to have something cheerful to wear to keep warm.

The combination was serendipity -- I had scraps from two projects in my scrap bag and these two just became friends.  I had more of the fleece in my stock of test fabric and there was enough of the knit fabric to cut strips for bindings.

I decided to do 1/2" bindings around the neck and sleeve hems and 1" around the garment hem -- I wanted to make sure that enough of the trim showed to pick up the pink.

The pattern is a t-shirt darted no bsd FBA and the neckline is a bateau -- and I widened 0.5" and increased depth by only 0.25".  I had no SA on neckline and no Hem Allowance on sleeves or top since I put the binding to the edge.

This is really cute.  I have some micro-fleece from a sewing co-op buy that would be perfect.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful t-shirt!  I really like the trim.  Dumb question here though....what does bsd mean?

Back Shoulder Dart.  Now where's the fleece, I want a cute warm tee like that too!

Wink   bsd = back shoulder dart  and is abbreviated that way in the pattern name

btw I wore the shirt bowling this morning and it was very warm and comfortable -- didn't help my bowling score, but at least I looked good!  lol
