The quilt is for my Granddaughter's doll bed. The throw pillows were made from scraps of old Christmas projects.  The bolster reminds me of the small tootsie rolls.  The bed was made by a friend who has since passed away. I had bought a few of his beds and this is my last one. What a talented man Don was...an engineer, who was a talented craftsman in wood and reeds...taught Anna and I how to make Nantucket baskets.

How old is your granddaughter?  The quilt is gorgeous!  Did you use decorative stitches from your machine or were they hand sewn? I just love Christmas quilts, of any size.

Taylor is 7.  I have a new Ruby and the stitches were some of the built in ones...it was a good learning project for me.  She also received a doll and I had made several outfits for her.

Cheryl, the quilt is just beautiful and the little pillows are so cute!  They're perfect for the wonderful bed, which will be treasured forever.
