Here is a variation of a t-shirt made from a basic blouse using the stretch factor available in Print Layout. Neckline is the rounded square with a mandarin collar added. My Matilda is wearing the shirt because I do not have a way of taking a picture of myself.

I love the neckline with the mandarin.  Very cool and of course, I love the color.

Thanks, Tari

It started out as a test shirt, but think it will be very wearable.

If the dress form you are using is close to your size...then yes it looks like a wonderful fit.
Gorgeous blue...
What's next on your sewing list?

Believe it or not, that dress form was made back in 1988 and I am now back so that I can use it. My measurements are VERY close.

Next is a black fleece dolman sleeve jacket. Need a light weight jacket for Puyallup and black is my color. Haven't decided whether to put a zipper up the front or have an overlap. So --- you see it is still in the planning stages.

As always, you've made something that I really like.   The color will look nice on you and the collar is very attractive!

That is wonderful to return to your 1988 size and regain the use of the dress form.

I'm busy sewing a copy of the v-neck zip-front shoulder princess jacket.  I am almost done constructing the very slippery lining and then I will begin work on the jacket.  Some very wise sewist (possibly Sandra Betzina) suggested always constructing the lining at the front end of the jacket project while you have the most enthusiasm.  This avoids the jacket becoming a UFO waiting for a lining.

I think the idea of constructing the lining first is an excellent idea. I think I will start using that idea. I love lined garments and hope to make more of them in the near future.
