I made a pair of fun PJ pants to take with me on the Novi trip -- it was nice to take a break today to make something that had no zippers, ruffles, or buttons -- although I did make two buttonholes in my casing for the ribbon.

The pants fabric was chosen to go with a bargain t-shirt -- more details are on my blog.

I used the PJ pants from BWL but you could also use the loose elastic or semi-fitted elastic pants.

I shortened mine by 9" and created a cut-on waistband by adding 2" across the top of my pattern pieces.  That gave me ample to turn over/under and top stitch for use with 3/4" elastic.
