We will be at Novi again this year - and will have a booth, put on a style show and I will be teaching two classes. So the prep for the show has started - planning, sewing and designing. I hope that many of you will be able to stop by and see us there!

We will be posting pictures and designs from the garments being made for people in the booth, as well as the ones for the style show. So keep tuned!!

I see mention of Novi throughout the Forum.  Can you provide more information about it?  What is it?  Where?  When?  I did a Google search, and found no obvious sites.  Thank you

The Novi Sewing Expo is in Novi, Michigan. It is the sister expo to the Puyallup one I think. I will ask the web programmer to put the link on our webpage also, but here it is http://www.americansewingexpo.com

This week we have three sewing elves in Elgin to help with the fashion show outfits.   Our elves are three of our SeamTeam members (Ann, Elaine and Gayle) and we are busy planning out the runway walks (in what order, what is being worn), picking out material and buttons/zippers (then cutting a swatch and putting it on an index card), printing and taping patterns, making test garments for a few and actual garments are being cut and sewn today!

As we move along and get more things done, we will post pictures and comments for you to read.
