Thanks, and Kat, I enjoy your posts on the other list too.  Want to hear more about the Mayo experience - in fact I bet folks on this list would like to hear about it also.

Do you still get that nervous energy when Christmas is almost here? If you do, then you will know a bit how I feel right now. I am 1.3 pounds away from a 100 pound loss. Somehow the waiting for that is worse than Christmas expectations, even worse that waiting for my first child to FINALLY decide to be born (he was weeks late!!). I hope that it will be at that level my Monday - but the suspense is killing me!!!! I LOVE this diet!!

It's only been seven months since you started and you've had wonderful results.  Congratulations!

Yes Ma'am!! I have broken the 100 pound barrier. After hanging out at 99 pounds lost, this morning the digital scale informed me that I had lost 102.6 pounds!!

Whooppeee!!!!

Now on to the next 100! But boy do my clothes need help! I promised myself that I would not remeasure until the first of August, about 10 days after I get off this reduction cycle. I am not sure I can wait that long. Partially because I cannot stand the tension.... but mostly because my closets are looking a bit naked all of a sudden. And the Goodwill people are very happy. So in addition to Novi sewing, I will have LOTS of clothes to make, just to keep covered. Good thing I know this program....

I REALLY love this diet!!

Oh, wow, Kat, you have done so well!  How wonderful to feel so good and have such an empty closet.  Happy sewing!

I would love to sew for myself - but with Novi coming up and them giving us AN HOUR styleshow, we are swamped with garments. I will put up a list of what we are doing so that you all can see. We are only about 11% done with the garments, although many are at that inbetween stage - designed, but not sewn. I will be in serious straights by then if I do not get some personal sewing time - my closet looks very lonely!

Thank goodness that Novi is over. I had a terrible problem getting clothes for myself, since I put the style show clothes at a higher priority. So each night at Novi I sewed a jacket for the next day - WHEW! But I added a nice little cardigan tunic jacket to my repertoire. And - it certainly made remember some of my faster techniques, so I would say that the stress was worth it.

The weight loss slowed with the short sleep, inadequate water, etc. However, I am still at over 120 pounds lost and this week is starting to really show more weight loss, so I am pleased. I hope to be at more than 135 pounds lost when I go back to Mayo Clinic in November. Of course, it will be interesting to see if the Fall Conference attendees notice....

Notice, she says!  Kat was looking and feeling so good with 134 lbs off, and Kathryn was wearing skinny pants and looking great!  I suspended my disbelief and went on the Zola diet myself.  10.2 gone since Thanksgiving, eating good food, and I am NOT hungry.  Just amazing.

Kathy, how wonderful!!  After consulting my doc about the plan ( and any hcg plan) he advised against it because of all the surgeries I have had on my gut.  Without a gall bladder, appendix, 1/3 of my stomach, no pyloric valve, and 1/2 of a duodemun, he says I just don't assimilate things the way "normal" folks do.   Geez, now my doc is on the "not normal" bandwagon!  I giggled when I told him he was in good company.

Surgery is Tuesday morning.  I will be up and walking that afternoon and everyday thereafter - no blood clots for me.  As soon as I am ready to drive I will start back with my trainer at 24 hour Fitness.  I am sooooo looking forward to that.

Keep us posted with pics on your shrinking.  Hey, our EA group is really getting smaller.
