Puyallup -- Booth Setup

Here are some pictures of the booth -- we had no idea of what we were going to put where but somehow things just went together and we feel very pleased with the results.
We took the steam iron along to do any last-minute pressing that inevitably is needed, but we didn't have an ironing board. Kathy Warner was very resourceful and used the travel pillow as a make-shift pressing ham so that she was able to get Hilda's skimmer and basic blouse wrinkle free.
Some of my pics came out a little too dark but I think I have enough items to show a good representation. We have many accent items made by Ann Brown of the SEAM Team, plus items from EA Kathryn Albert as well as Rachel McIntyre and Laura Wagner from the home office. Thanks to Sara Boyd (Designer and Illustrator) and Elaine Fosler (SEAM Team) Hilda has a beautiful wardrobe that this pic just doesn't do justice. I even had time to make one apron (Denise -- the contrasting vintage prints with rick rack trim is about as wild as I got this year ...)
Ann is a real pro at machine embroidery and embellished her totes, cases, organizers, and nightgowns with stunning designs.
The costumes are the beautiful work of our designer Richard Webber (and Kat Lind, too) and include items from Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian eras. Who knew that working with pattern-drafting software would come along with a brief history lesson of period dress?
I tried to get representative shots but don't have pics of everything here due to cropping, lighting, etc.
So after a long day ... enjoy this preview ... and I promise pics of TCC garments on real-life bodies .... starting tomorrow!
